When I saw these shoes on Zara’s website, i fell in love. serious butterflies. rivaling the ones I had when i saw my fiancé for the first time in Tulane Law’s reading room.
Ok, maybe they didn’t rival those feelings of excitement but it was pretty close people. After days of contemplating whether I could purchase my third pair of shoes from Zara in just 2 months (i may have a serious shopping problem but I’ll blame it on the season change), i decided that if i could make 5 outfits work with these beauties, it was worth it – my guilt was also laid to rest with the help of Kathryn Klingemann (my shopping partner-in-crime and expert on everything Texas).
When these blue suede heels arrived on my doorstep, I knew I had made the right decision. They are the perfect mix of chic and edgy. Edgy is something I aspire to – for the sole purpose that it would help my chances of being in a Kanye music video (see below post – https://suddhara.wordpress.com/2014/02/18/847-for-life/). Fake it till you make it, right?
Though I have yet to take these glorious blue suedes around the block, I have been wearing them around the house to make the daily household chores seem more glamorous. Let me tell you, emptying the dishwasher in these heels is WAY MORE FUN.
